          Appeal No. 2004-1302
          Application No. 09/789,757

          deficiency.
Wynalda pertains to a holder particularly intended for
holding disk-type recordings such as CDs (column 1, lines 18-23).
Holder 10 comprises a generally rectangular member vacuum-formed
from a desired polymeric sheet (column 1, lines 31-34). The
holder has a circular recess or well 12 (apparently mislabeled
element 2 in Figure 1) for receiving a CD and a centrally located
hub 16 of predetermined configuration which interfits with the
central aperture of the CD to be stored. The hub is a separate
member that may have a number of different configurations, and is
mounted on a cylindrical protrusion or boss 20’ centrally
positioned in the recess. Wynalda describes the Figures 2 and 5
first hub configuration and the Figures 3 and 6 second hub
configuration at column 3, line 57, through column 4, line 7, as
          follows:
FIGS. 2 and 5 show a first variation 116 of the basic
hub 16, which essentially comprises merely an upraised
generally flat, disk-like portion 122 which surrounds a
further upraised circular hub 124, which is sized
closely to and frictionally interfits within the center
hole in the disk to be retained, such that the body of
the disk rests atop the annular portion 122 surrounding
               hub 124.
FIGS. 3 and 6 show a second hub variation 216
which is similar to hub 116 of FIGS. 2 and 5 but which
includes a series of radially extending slots 226
                                         18
