             displays whatever is being displayed on the host 101 when a connection is                                
             made.”  This latter portion is a part of the discussion beginning at column                              
             54, line 7 relating to the remote occlusion region on the host 101 display.                              
             Even though this remote occlusion region is taught at the beginning at this                              
             region of the reference through the end of the patent that a remote                                      
             occlusion region is established in the display of the host computer 101, still                           
             the teaching is that whatever is displayed there is displayed or mirrored on                             
             the display of the remote interface device 100.                                                          
                    Even if we assume for the sake of argument, which is implicit in the                              
             arguments presented by appellant in the brief and reply brief, that both                                 
             references are properly combinable within 35 U.S.C. § 103, we do not                                     
             agree with the examiner’s assertion that Jacob does teach the feature of                                 
             transferring selected data blocks from a display monitor on a computer to a                              
             portable information device in such a manner as to meet the feature at the                               
             end of each of the independent claims on appeal of providing an element                                  
             for performing a step of sending less than all of the display output from the                            
             first computer over a wireless communication link to a portable computer                                 
             or a corresponding feature.
