DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the final rejection of
claims 1-20.
The invention relates to the field of Redundant Array of
Independent Disks (RAID) storage systems. In particular, the
invention concerns the use of partial mirroring during expansion
to eliminate the need to track the progress of stripes updated
during expansion.
