capture user activity information that is uploaded to a personal
data warehouse.
Claim 81 is illustrative of the claimed invention, and it
reads as follows:
81. A method of presenting tailored information to a user
based on user activity information captured during user
activities and uploaded to a personal data warehouse, the method
comprising the steps of:
presenting to the user an interface having a representation
of an agent as a virtual character with at least one modifiable
characteristic;
capturing user activity information based upon the user’s
activities which, in turn, are based upon the user’s response to
the at least one modifiable characteristic of the virtual
character;
connecting over a network to a computer that maintains the
personal data warehouse with user activity information specific
to the user;
uploading the captured user activity information to the
computer;
updating the personal data warehouse with the captured user
activity information; and
presenting tailored information that is personalized for the
user based on the captured user activity information in the
personal data warehouse.
