Claim 1 is exemplary:
1. A method for creating a privacy policy for a
website, comprising the computer-implemented
steps of:
simultaneously displaying a plurality of data
elements used by the website and a plurality of
data groups into which ones of said plurality of
data elements can be placed;
receiving, from a user, first choices of which
data group or data groups of said plurality of data
groups each of said plurality of data elements shall
be placed into;
generating a first version of the privacy
policy for the website based on said first choices;
receiving, from a user, a second choice
modifying an item making up said first version,
said item being chosen from the collection
consisting of said plurality of data elements, said
plurality of data groups, a policy-wide property,
and said first choices;
modifying said item according to said
second choice; and
after completion of said modifying step,
dynamically generating a second version of said
privacy policy.
