Property that is perishable or expensive to keep; procedure for sale at public auction Sec. 17. When attached personal property is perishable in nature or expensive to keep, the court may direct the sheriff to sell the property at public auction upon reasonable notice. If the property is liable to immediate damage, the sheriff may sell the property by giving ten (10) days notice, without an order of court, and the proceeds of all sales shall be deposited with the clerk. As added by P.L.1-1998, SEC.20.
