Owner registration; former prisoners of war
Sec. 8. (a) Except as provided under subsection (b), a motor
vehicle may be registered under this chapter only by an owner who
qualifies for a special group recognition license plate.
(b) The bureau may register a vehicle under this chapter if the
applicant is:
(1) a former prisoner of war; or
(2) the surviving spouse of a former prisoner of war.
