Establishment and designation of heavy duty highways; removal
of designation; publication of map
Sec. 1. (a) The Indiana department of transportation may adopt
rules under IC 4-22-2 to do the following:
(1) Establish and designate a highway as a heavy duty highway.
(2) Remove the designation of a highway or part of a highway
as a heavy duty highway.
(b) The Indiana department of transportation shall periodically
publish a map showing all highways designated by the department at
the time as heavy duty highways.
