Indiana Code - Motor Vehicles - Title 9, Section 9-24-5-1

Issuance; conditions

Sec. 1. Except as otherwise provided in this article, the bureau
shall issue a public passenger chauffeur's license to an individual
who meets the following conditions:
(1) Satisfies the age requirements described in section 2 of this
chapter.
(2) Makes proper application to the bureau under IC 9-24-9,
upon a form prescribed by the bureau.
(3) Successfully passes the physical examination given by a
practicing physician licensed to practice medicine in Indiana.
(4) Has operated a motor vehicle for one (1) year.
(5) Satisfactorily passes the examination and tests for a public
passenger chauffeur's license.
(6) Pays the fee prescribed in IC 9-29-9.
