338.985 Violations; penalties.

Sec. 15.

(1) Except as provided in subsection (2), an individual, partnership, association, or corporation who violates this act is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than $500.00, or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.

(2) A member of the board who intentionally violates section 4(4) shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in the open meetings act, Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of 1976, being sections 15.261 to 15.275 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.
