Immunity of employer who fails to request information concerning criminal history of volunteer. An employer who fails to request information concerning the criminal history of a volunteer or prospective volunteer as authorized pursuant to subsection 4 of NRS 179A.100 is not liable to a child served by the employer for civil damages suffered by the child as a result of an offense listed in subsection 4 of NRS 179A.190 committed against the child by such a volunteer or prospective volunteer.
