Nevada Revised Statutes Section 676.270 - Financial Institutions

Authority of Commissioner to investigate business; fee.

1. For the purpose of discovering violations of this chapter or of securing information lawfully required under this chapter, the Commissioner or his authorized representative may at any time and shall, at least once each year, investigate the business and examine the books, accounts, papers and records of any licensee.

2. For the purpose of examination the Commissioner or his authorized representatives must be allowed free access to the offices, files, safes and vaults of such licensees.

3. For each examination the Commissioner shall charge and collect from the licensee a fee for conducting the examination and in preparing and typing the report of the examination at the rate established pursuant to NRS 658.101.
