Allowance of persons near remains awaiting cremation; simultaneous cremation of remains of more than one person.
1. The operator of a crematory shall not permit a person to be present near human remains awaiting cremation, being cremated, or being removed from the chamber unless his presence is within the normal scope of his work or his presence is authorized by the family of the deceased.
2. The operator of a crematory shall not simultaneously cremate the remains of more than one person in the same chamber unless so authorized in writing by the agent for each person whose remains are to be so cremated. Such a written authorization releases the operator from liability for commingling of the cremated remains.
