Nevada Revised Statutes Section 689.225 - Insurance

Agent’s license required; exception; administrative fine.

1. It is unlawful for any person to solicit the sale of a prepaid contract in this state on behalf of a seller unless he holds a valid agent’s license issued by the Commissioner.

2. This section does not apply to a seller who holds a valid seller’s certificate of authority.

3. A person who solicits the sale of a prepaid contract in this state without a license is subject to an administrative fine of not more than $1,000 for each violation.
