Nevada Revised Statutes Section 689C.145 - Insurance

Characteristics that carrier may use to determine rating factors for establishing premiums. In determining the rating factors for establishing the premiums for a health benefit plan, a carrier serving small employers shall not use characteristics other than age, sex, industry, geographic area, composition of family, size of group and the amount contributed by the employer to the cost of coverage without the prior approval of the Commissioner.
