Nevada Revised Statutes Section 689C.930 - Insurance

Board to develop standards setting forth manner and levels of compensation paid to producers for sale of health benefit plans. As part of the plan of operation, the Board shall develop standards that set forth the manner and levels of compensation that may be paid to producers for the sale of basic and standard health benefit plans issued in accordance with the Program of Reinsurance. In establishing such standards, the Board shall consider:

1. The need to ensure the broad availability of coverages;

2. The objectives of the Program of Reinsurance;

3. The time and effort expended in placing the coverage;

4. The need to provide on-going service to small employers, eligible employees and eligible persons;

5. The level of compensation currently used in the industry; and

6. The overall cost of coverage to small employers, eligible employees and eligible persons selecting such coverage.
