Nevada Revised Statutes Section 62E.140 - Juvenile Justice

Permitting child to reside without immediate supervision of adult or exempting child from mandatory attendance at school under certain circumstances. The juvenile court may permit a child to reside in a residence without the immediate supervision of an adult, exempt the child from mandatory attendance at school so that the child may be employed full time, or both, if the child:

1. Is at least 16 years of age;

2. Has demonstrated the capacity to benefit from this placement or exemption; and

3. Is under the strict supervision of the juvenile court.
