Extended benefits payable under Interstate Benefit Payment Plan. 1. Except as provided in subsection 2, a person is not eligible for extended benefits for any week in which: (a) Extended benefits are payable pursuant to a claim filed under the Interstate Benefit Payment Plan; and (b) An extended benefit period is not in effect. 2. The provisions of subsection 1 do not apply to the first 2 weeks for which extended benefits are payable pursuant to a claim filed under the Interstate Benefit Payment Plan.
