Administrative officer: Other employment prohibited; exceptions. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 284.143, an administrative officer shall devote his entire time to the duties of his position and shall have no other gainful employment or occupation, but he may attend seminars, act as a consultant and give lectures relating to his profession and accept appropriate stipends for the seminars, consultations and lectures.
