Nevada Revised Statutes Section 623.220 - Professions, Occupations and Businesses

Fee for registration; issuance of certificate. [Effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.]

1. The Board shall issue a certificate of registration as an architect or a residential designer, upon payment of a registration fee pursuant to the provisions of subsection 2 of NRS 623.180 or NRS 623.310, to any applicant who complies with the provisions of NRS 623.190 and passes the examinations, or in lieu thereof, brings himself within the provisions of NRS 623.210.

2. The Board shall issue a certificate of registration to practice as a registered interior designer, upon payment of a registration fee pursuant to the provisions of NRS 623.180 or 623.310, to any applicant who complies with the provisions of NRS 623.192 and 623.200, or in lieu thereof, brings himself within the provisions of NRS 623.215.

3. Certificates of registration must show the full name of the registrant, have a serial number and be signed by the Chairman and the Secretary of the Board under seal of the Board. The issuance of a certificate of registration by the Board is evidence that the person named therein is entitled to all the rights and privileges of an architect, registered interior designer or residential designer while the certificate remains unsuspended, unrevoked and unexpired.
