County or municipality may impose additional requirements for contractor’s license. The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed to prevent the governing body of any county or incorporated city requiring an additional contractor’s license within such political subdivision issued subject to the applicant meeting such additional standards as are reasonable and necessary for the protection of the public in the political subdivision.
