Nevada Revised Statutes Section 645C.550 - Professions, Occupations and Businesses

Injunctions.

1. Whenever the Division believes from evidence satisfactory to it that any person has violated or is about to violate a provision of this chapter, or a provision of any regulation, order, decision, demand or requirement of the Division or the Commission, it may bring an action, in the name of the Division, in the district court of the State of Nevada in and for the county where the person resides, or, if the person resides outside the State of Nevada, in any court of competent jurisdiction within or outside the State of Nevada, against the person to enjoin him from engaging in or continuing the violation, or from doing any act or acts in furtherance of the violation.

2. If the action is brought in a district court of the State of Nevada, an order or judgment may be entered, when proper, awarding a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction or final injunction. A preliminary injunction or temporary restraining order must not be granted without at least 5 days’ notice to the opposite party.
