Nevada Revised Statutes Section 648.146 - Professions, Occupations and Businesses

Forfeited licenses; reinstatement; fee. [Effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.] If a licensee fails to renew his license within the time fixed by NRS 648.144, his license is automatically forfeited, but may be reinstated within 30 days after the date of the forfeiture upon his compliance with the regulations of the Board and upon his application and payment of a reinstatement fee of $100. Reinstatement of a forfeited license does not prohibit the bringing of disciplinary proceedings for any act committed during the period of forfeiture.
