North Carolina General Statutes § 143-345.25 Innovations deemed property of the State; effect of decisions regarding bonuses

(a) All suggestions or innovations submitted by State employees pursuant to this Article are the property of the State, and all related intellectual property rights shall be assigned to the State. By January 1, 2002, the Office of State Human Resources shall establish a policy regarding intellectual property rights that arise from NC-Thinks.

(b) Decisions regarding the award of bonuses by the agency coordinator and the State Suggestion Review Committee are final and are not subject to review under the contested case procedures of Chapter 150B of the General Statutes.
