The Division of Adult Correction of the Department of Public Safety may charge a fee to any unit of local government to which it provides, upon request, a community work crew. The amount of the fee shall be no more than the cost to the Division to provide the crew to the unit of local government, not to exceed a daily rate of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per work crew.
