Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 238.205, an employer may “pick-up,” assume or pay the full amount of contributions which would otherwise have been made by an employee assisted under ORS 243.920, whether the employee agreed to make the contributions by payroll deduction, reduction in salary or the forgoing of a salary increase. [1989 c.799 §18]
