The Oregon Department of Administrative Services may operate central repair and maintenance services for the general repair and servicing of office equipment belonging to the various state agencies. The cost of such services shall be charged to the various agencies served and paid to the department in the same manner as other claims against the agencies are paid. It shall also be the function of the department to salvage office equipment, in so far as is practicable and economical. Salvaged equipment shall be disposed of in accordance with ORS 279A.280.
