(1) The receiving community college shall be awarded funds from the contracted out-of-district funds appropriated to the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development if the college operates the program under a contract with an apprenticeship training committee and the contract is approved by the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development.
(2) A community college district may submit full-time equivalencies generated by apprenticeship programs to the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development for reimbursement from the Community College Support Fund for purposes of ORS 341.626 but may not submit for reimbursement those full-time equivalencies generated through contracts under subsection (1) of this section.
