(1) There is established an Oregon Engineering Education Investment Fund, separate and distinct from the General Fund. Interest earned by the Oregon Engineering Education Investment Fund shall be credited to the fund.
(2) The moneys in the fund are appropriated continuously to the Department of Higher Education for the purpose of investments in engineering education.
(3) There is established a goal of at least $100 million that will be invested in engineering education through the fund prior to July 1, 2007. [1997 c.641 §1]
