(1) The granting of legal custody and guardianship over the youth offender to the Oregon Youth Authority does not terminate the juvenile court’s jurisdiction over the youth offender.
(2) Upon parole of the youth offender from a youth correction facility, the legal custody of the youth offender is vested in the parents of the youth offender or other person to whom the youth offender is returned, subject to ORS 420.045 (3).
