When a mentally ill person is assigned to or transferred to a state mental hospital, all actual and necessary expenses incurred by the agent or attendant from the state hospital and the assistants of the agent or attendant, together with those of the person for transportation to the hospital, shall be paid by the state in the manner provided in ORS 426.330.
