Oregon Statutes - Chapter 59 - Securities Regulation; Mortgage Bankers and Brokers - Section 59.920 - Copies of documents; fees; effect of certification.

(1) The Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services shall furnish to any person, upon payment of a fee established by rule, copies of any document which is a matter of public record. Certified copies shall be furnished upon request. In a proceeding or prosecution under ORS 59.840 to 59.980, a copy so certified shall be prima facie evidence of the contents of the entry or document certified.

(2) A certificate of the director as to compliance or noncompliance with licensing provisions of ORS 59.840 to 59.980 shall be taken and received in a civil or criminal proceeding in this state as prima facie evidence of the facts stated in the certificate. [1993 c.508 §17]
