Oregon Statutes - Chapter 675 - Psychologists; Occupational Therapists; Certified Sex Offender Therapists; Clinical Social Workers; Licensed Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists - Section 675.560 - When certificate or license effective; rules; renewal; continuing education.

(1) Associate certification or licensure shall be effective when an associate certificate or license is issued by the State Board of Clinical Social Workers.

(2) Associate certification or licensure shall expire on the date established by the board by rule.

(3) Renewal of associate certification may be obtained upon payment of the appropriate fee and the submission of a sworn statement by the associate, on a form provided by the board, that demonstrates to the board’s satisfaction that satisfactory progress is being made toward completion of the associate’s adopted supervisory plan.

(4) Renewal of a license may be obtained upon payment of the appropriate fee and the submission of a sworn statement by the applicant, on a form provided by the board, that ensures that the applicant has been actively engaged in clinical social work during the license period and has completed the applicable continuing education requirements and that there exists no reason for denial of the renewal.
