(1) An Oregon commercial bank shall certify a check only if the amount of the check actually stands to the credit of the drawer in collected funds on the books of the Oregon commercial bank.
(2) The amount of any certified check shall be immediately charged to the drawer’s account. [1997 c.631 §171]
