An extranational institution shall not accept deposits at any office in this state in an amount less than $100,000, unless the insurable deposits of that office are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or no such insurance is required under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and the regulations of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation thereunder.
