Oregon Statutes - Chapter 731 - Administration and General Provisions - Section 731.364 - Domestic insurer transferring domicile to another state.

A domestic insurer, upon the approval of the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services, may transfer its domicile to any other state in which it is admitted to transact the business of insurance. Upon such a transfer the insurer ceases to be a domestic insurer and may be authorized in this state if qualified as a foreign insurer. The director shall approve such a proposed transfer unless the director determines that the transfer is not in the interest of the policyholders of this state. [1995 c.639 §10]
