Arizona Revised Statutes § 32-741.01 Suspension For Nonregistration; Expiration Of Certificate Or Registration

32-741.01. Suspension for nonregistration; expiration of certificate or registration

A. The certificate or registration of any registrant who fails to timely register and pay the biennial registration fee as required by section 32-729 is automatically suspended without prior notice or a hearing.

B. A registrant whose certificate or registration is suspended shall not assume or use the title or designation of " certified public accountant" or " public accountant" or the abbreviation " C.P.A." , " CPA" , " P.A." or " PA" while the registrant's certificate remains on suspended status.

C. A suspension under this section is vacated when the board has determined that the registrant has paid all past due fees and has satisfied all other requirements for renewal.

D. If the registrant fails to renew the registrant's certificate or registration within twelve months after the date of suspension, the certificate or registration expires.
