                                 DECISION ON APPEAL                                  
               This is a decision on appeal from the examiner's final                
          rejection of claims 1, 3 through 5 and 7 through 17.  Claims               
          24 through 27 were withdrawn from consideration as being for a             
          non-elected invention (see Paper No. 10, mailed May 1, 1996).              
          Claims 2, 6 and 18 through 23 have been canceled.1
