Appeal No. 1999-0225 Application No. 08/563,188 at the same data rate as the recording of data transferred to a transfer bus. In considering the disclosure of a reference, it is proper to take into account not only specific teachings of the reference but also the inferences which one skilled in the art would reasonably be expected to draw therefrom. In re Preda, 401 F.2d 825, 826, 159 USPQ 342, 344 (CCPA 1968). In summary, we have sustained the Examiner’s 35 U.S.C. § 103 rejection of all of the claims on appeal. Therefore, the decision of the Examiner rejecting claims 1-18 is affirmed. No time period for taking any subsequent action in connection with this appeal may be extended under 37 CFR § 1.136(a).
