DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal under 35 U.S.C. §134 from the examiner's final
rejection of claims 7-10, 13, 16-19, 22, 25 and 26, which are all of the claims pending in
this application.
Claim 7 is illustrative of the claims on appeal and reads as follows:
7. A process for making di-/triglyceride mixtures comprising:
(a) providing a vegetable oil having an iodine value of from 0.5 to 50; and
(b) partially transesterifying the vegetable oil by reacting it with a transesterifying
component selected from the group consisting of a mixture of glycerol and a fatty acid
corresponding to formula I:
