Offer of social services
Sec. 1. Based on the investigation and evaluation conducted under
this article, the department shall offer to the family or any child
believed to be suffering from child abuse or neglect:
(1) family services;
(2) rehabilitative services; or
(3) both types of services;
that appear appropriate for either the child or the family.
