41-1976. Prohibition upon disposal of goods labeled or sold as products of the blind without permit; violation; classification

A. A person, group of persons or organization of any description may not sell, market or otherwise dispose of to the public by any means, any goods or articles labeled as made by the blind or sold as products of the blind, either of this state or any other state, without a permit in writing from the state department of economic security upon a form prescribed by the department.

B. Issuance of permits as provided for in subsection A shall be at the discretion of and subject to rules of the department.

C. A person violating any provision of this section is guilty of a class 3 misdemeanor.
