DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the final rejection of
claim 10, the only claim pending.
The invention pertains to a data base management system and,
more particularly, to the optimization of search queries in such
a system.
Claim 10 is reproduced as follows:

(a) data storage means for storing a database
