Appeal No. 97-0991 Application 08/436,660 appears to have a flat outer surface which is adapted to frictionally engage a flat internal surface of the overhanging lip 13. Given the foregoing deficiencies of the Fine reference, we shall not sustain the standing 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) rejection of independent claims 10 and 21, or of claim 29 which depends from claim 10, as being anticipated by Fine. Nor shall we sustain the standing 35 U.S.C. § 103 rejections of dependent claims 11 through 20 and 22 through 28. In short, the secondary references applied by the examiner in support of these rejections fail to cure all of the above noted shortcomings of Fine with respect to the subject matter recited in parent claims 10 and 21.
