Appeal No. 97-2524 Application 08/255,128 DECISION ON APPEAL This is a decision on the appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from the examiner’s rejection of claims 1, 2, 9 and 11-20, which constitute all the claims remaining in the application. The disclosed invention pertains to a vehicle route guidance system and method. More particularly, the route guidance system of the invention provides instructions to a driver which take into account the timing preferences of the driver. Representative claim 1 is reproduced as follows: 1.
