                                      JUDGMENT                                        
               Beckman Instruments, Inc., the common assignee of the                  
          Bhatnagar and Adams applications, has filed a request for                   
          entry of an adverse judgment as to Bhatnagar.  Pursuant to                  
          37 CFR § 1.662(a), judgment as to the subject matter of the                 
          count in issue is hereby awarded to Adams, the senior party.                
          Accordingly, Satish K. Bhatnagar and Albert L. George, Jr.,                 
          the junior party, are not entitled to a patent containing                   
          claims 1 to 52 corresponding to the count.
