Appeal No. 1996-3324 Application No. 08/132,969 as part of dependent claim 4, which relates the output voltages of each of the claimed converters to the value of D . 1 In our opinion, this equation on its face supports the implication that the inputs of the claimed second and third D/A converters are dependent in some fashion on the value of D . For all of the above reasons, the Examiner’s 35 U.S.C. § 1 112, first paragraph rejection of independent claim 1 and claims 2-7 dependent thereon is sustained. The rejection of claims 1-4 as anticipated by the Data Converter Reference Manual. We note that anticipation is established only when a single prior art reference discloses, expressly or under the principles of inherency, each and every element of a claimed invention as well as disclosing structure which is capable of performing the recited functional limitations.
