Claim 1 is illustrative and reads as follows: 1. A rotor assembly having a plurality of adjacent concentric rings having facing surfaces, each of said concentric rings having a circumferential step therein which extends along a portion of a length of a facing surface thereof, and which cooperates with a matching circumferential step in the facing surface of an adjacent concentric ring.
