In Meroney, the frame structure (e.g., 38, 40, 42, 44 of Figure 1) is made of stiffened paper or plastic (col. 3, lines 9-12) and is attached to the interior surface of the liner sleeve (32) by adhesive or heat sealing. Figure 4 of Meroney shows a simplified version of the receptacle liner therein where only panels (68, 70) are provided at the mouth of the liner sleeve.
