An understanding of the invention can be derived from a reading of exemplary claims 1, 8 and 15 (the independent claims on appeal), which appear in the appendix to the appellant's brief. The prior art reference of record relied upon by the examiner in rejecting the appealed claims is: Landenberger 941,525 Nov. 30, 1909 Claims 1, 3 to 8, 10 to 15 and 17 to 21 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Landenberger.
